Restorative Yoga Weekly Hour of Rest - Tues 6:30 PM - Albany Creek Studio

Restorative Yoga is the ultimate practice in slowing down and encouraging physical, mental and emotional relaxation. A pause in the week to ground, reset and find space.

The practice is floor based and has postures that are held for longer periods of time to allow the body and mind to release into a comfortable stillness. You may hardly move at all in the session with a series of curated postures for deep relaxation. Drawing your attention to the breath and any sensations that arise.

Each posture has props for your body to be supported and comfortable.

This can be particularly beneficial for people needing to find mental clarity, in times of challenging events or personal situations, also if looking for a neutral environment that is neither your home or work location.

The practice may also benefit people with physical pain or discomfort from poor posture or limited flexibilty.
